**Job Summary**
- Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Science is a research-intensive faculty that thrives on inclusive research excellence, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement. Reporting to the Dean, Faculty of Science, the Outreach & Academic Integrity Manager will initiate and lead outreach activities with internal and external stakeholders with the aim of fostering and strengthening the reputation and impact of the Faculty, as well as manage the Faculty’s academic integrity process.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Initiate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify and develop outreach activities on a one-off and ongoing basis.
- Lead event support from start to finish, including identifying and reaching out to potential stakeholders and participants, developing and implementing communications plans, logistics planning and execution, and evaluation and implementation of changes for future events in consultation with stakeholders.
- Maintain a central calendar of all Faculty outreach activities. Support Faculty departments in the coordination of outreach activities across units and liaise with portfolios within the Faculty and across the university in the coordination and promotion of activities as appropriate.
- Oversee the Faculty’s Academic Integrity Officers (AIOs), including leading regular (monthly) meetings of the Academic Integrity Committee, helping to identify new AIOs as required, and organizing and facilitating the onboarding and training of new AIOs once appointed.
- Manage the academic integrity allegations process including serving as a key resource and liaison for all parties involved; compiling information; assigning allegations to AIOs; and addressing allegations independently within purview of role.

- This position will
- ** **be required to work outside regular working hours periodically.
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

**Required Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in Science or other relevant field plus approximately three to five years related experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills, including the demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with a wide range of individuals.
- Experience developing and managing successful events.
- High level of motivation and initiative to act independently and proactively.
- Strong organisational and time management skills including the ability to balance competing time sensitive priorities.
