Board of Directors through the club's General Manager or the Chairman of the board. The role of the Operations

Manager is to administer club operations by the board's strategic, financial, and operational direction.

Guided by Policies & By-laws, you shall administer all aspects of the club, including activities and relationships between the club and its Board of Directors, members, guests, employees, community, government and industry. You are the leader of the club’s management team and are responsible for administering all facets of the club’s operations.

The Operations Manager will have maintenance and kitchen lead hands reporting to them.

**Responsibilities**
- Keeps the Board of Directors apprised of the organizational climate, identifies actual or anticipated problems, communicates with the GM or board chair, offers consultative assistance, and shares responsibility with the Board of

Directors for the development and organizational change programs.
- Assume or delegate duties to necessary club department heads. The Operations Manager will complete all responsibilities and duties as prescribed in the club’s by-laws and perform other duties as directed by the Board of

Directors.
- Ensures the club is not liable for non-compliance with regulatory requirements and acts of negligence or poor management decisions.
- Provide performance appraisals for direct reports.
- Handles emergencies such as fires, accidents, and breaches of security or house rules promptly and in person.

Emphasizes prevention through training, inspection and preventive enforcement. Participates in appropriate community activities to enhance the club’s image and public awareness.
- Fully utilize and improve the use of the club’s available technology, including but not inclusive of tee-on and quick books.
- Effectively manage all aspects of the Club’s activities and services provided by the Club to ensure a high level of member satisfaction and referrals to their family, friends, and colleagues.
- In consultation with the Board and Treasurer, deliver long and short-term financial objectives.
- Prepare forecasts and execute the financial plan for the Club, including the development of annual operating, cash, and capital budgets. Preparing financial reports for the Board and Treasurer.
- Coordinate the marketing and member relations programs to promote the Club’s services and facilities.

Develop ongoing dialogue and rapport with members and guests.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory matters affecting the Club.
