We are looking for passionate experienced childcare professional Nannies who love children, have good-natured personalities and are excited to support families with their childcare needs.
A caring active family is looking for a Part-Time Nanny to support their two children after school. The nanny will need to pick up both children from daycare and school (within walking distance from their home). Therefore, someone who is active and comfortable walking would be required. The nanny would support them with their evening routine and bedtime routine.
Schedule needed would be **Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm and Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm.**
Their ideal Nanny would be patient and support children to be independent and help them do their chores, and guide them through their routines. Someone who is loving towards children and enjoys their job. They are looking for someone for the long term, therefore someone who can commit for at least 1 year with the possibility of an extension. The family needs to have good communication with the Nanny and have an open dialogue. The family is looking for a Bilingual Nanny who speaks English and French. The nanny would support with childcare-related chores, children’s laundry, meal prep when needed and tidying up the kitchen.
**Requirements**:
- Eligible to work in Canada
- 19 + years old age
- Have at least 3 years of childcare experience
- Complete Childcare CV (Childcare focus CV/Resume)
- Positive references (At least 3 childcare references)
- Reference letter (At least a 1-reference letter)
- Cover letter detailing your childcare experience
- First aid and CPR certified up to date
- Willing to obtain a Canadian criminal record check
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English and French
**Responsibilities**:
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for their children
- Engage and play with their child.
- Evening and bedtime routine
- Outdoor activities (going to the park or outside to play)
- Childcare-related duties.
- Meal preparation and feeding the children as needed.
- Pick up children from daycare and school
**Other Considerations**:
- Parents might work from home from time to time
- No allergies or special conditions
- No pets at home
**Compensation and benefits**:
- **25 Guaranteed hours offered per week**:
