- **Position**: Thursday & Friday (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM), Saturday (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM), Sunday (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM) - 32 hours

**About the Role: Tactical Security Guard**

As a Tactical Security Guard in a retail setting with Synergy, you’ll be the first line of defense against shoplifting and trespassing. You’ll ensure a safe environment through customer service and essential security practices, representing the company professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proactively prevent shoplifting, especially in high-theft areas.
- Identify and address trespassing, enforcing the Trespass to Property Act.
- Conduct patrols and monitor areas within the retail site.
- Investigate and document security breaches and concerning behaviors.
- Engage with patrons, providing a customer service approach to security.
- Recognize and respond to potentially disruptive behavior.
- Assist law enforcement as needed and complete detailed incident reports.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Ontario security license.
- **Must have a minimum 2 years of retail security experience.**:

- Physical capability to stand for 10-12 hours.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with an alert, responsive demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations.

- 10 hour shift

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
