This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, assisting the dentist and supporting the overall operations of the dental office.

**Duties**:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and documentation
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- X-ray certification required
- Knowledge of CAD software for digital impressions is a plus
- Familiarity with Tracker dental software is preferred
- Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, or other specialized areas of dentistry is desirable
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
