D U T I E S
Reporting to the Manager, Transactional Services, the incumbent's responsibilities include
analysis of student/client accounts to ensure that financial information is correct, ensuring the
accuracy and dependability of data in compliance with audit requirements ,Red River College
Polytechnic's policies, guidelines, and protocol prior to entering payments into the ERP
- Colleague. Ensure that financial processes are done accurately within required timeframe while
providing exceptional customer service and accurate information to the Polytech's clients,
stakeholders, and management. Responsible for the day-to-day processing of student and
customer payments and invoicing, outstanding account review and follow up and ensuring that
the AR balance of students and other clients are accurate. Manages the daily workload to ensure
that all AR related duties are accomplished on time and accurately. Other duties may be
assigned that may not be limited to the Accounts Receivable unit.
- R E Q U I R E D Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S- Diploma with an accounting major. A combination of education and experience may be
- considered- Experience in general accounting duties including accounts receivable
- Experience using a large computerized accounting system
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety
- of internal and external stakeholders- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within predetermined timelines
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams)
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning

and continuous improvement
- A S S E T S- Experience working with an ERP system, preferably Colleague
- Enrolled in a professional accounting program
- Experience with full cycle accounting
- Experience with Accounts Receivable processes and working knowledge of payment flows
- C O N D I T I O N S O F E M P L O Y M E N T- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- This position may be required to work overtime
