**About the Opportunity**:
We are currently looking for a
**Reprocessing Technician**, reporting to the Manager of Surgical Services. The incumbent is responsible to prepare, distribute and control sterile items, non-sterile items, and equipment as required by the Health Centre.

Hours of work are all shifts, including weekends.

**More About You**:
To qualify for the role, you must have successfully completed Medical Device Reprocessing Techniques Course offered through Medical Device Reprocessing Association of Ontario, or willing to enroll prior to starting in the position. You will also need to have:

- Successful completion of Grade 12;
- Must be physically capable to transfer loads of 10 to 30 pounds and transporting equipment and supplies throughout the Health Centre;
- Must have a demonstrated knowledge of instruments and supplies;
- Must have a demonstrated knowledge of the sterilization process;
- Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references;
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills;
- Two years’ experience working in a hospital environment as a Reprocessing Technician is an asset.
