This role is crucial for efficient route creation and dispatch, as well as for analyzing transportation data to enhance our logistics strategy. Your geographical knowledge of Ontario and experience in fleet or trucking dispatch will ensure smooth operations.

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Route Planning/Optimization**: Develop and dispatch efficient routes, optimizing product volume, tanker capacity, and route density with proprietary analytics tools.
- **Transportation and Data Analysis**: Conduct in-depth analyses of transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to logistics, including transportation costs, inventory levels, and delivery times. Utilize statistical methods and Canada Clean Fuels tools and solutions to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Develop strategies to optimize fleet performance and reduce operational costs.
- **Performance Monitoring and Reporting**: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transportation and logistics. Conduct daily route performance monitoring and address ongoing service issues through GPS and route audits. Provide regular reports to management on current strategies and recommendations for improvements.
- **Data Management**: Utilize tools and solutions for data analysis, reporting, and route optimization. Manage and interpret data to inform route planning decisions.
- **Creativity and Problem-Solving**: Develop innovative solutions for complex routing problems to improve overall routing efficiency.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with various departments to integrate route plans with operational needs, address routing issues, and align transportation strategies with business objectives.
- **Flexibility**: Adapt to changing priorities and work flexible hours as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- **Analytical Thinking**: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions using the latest technology.
- **Critical thinking and problem solving**:Ability to develop and implement logístical plans, respond to issues, and find solutions to improve costs and efficiency.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in business analytics tools and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience with transportation management software is a plus.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in fleet or trucking dispatch and transportation analysis, with a solid understanding of route planning, optimization, and logistics.
- **Geographical Knowledge**: Familiarity with Ontario’s geography.
- **Team-Oriented**: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
- **Tech-Savvy**: Comfortable working with technology and adapting to new systems and software, particularly those related to transportation management and data analysis.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work flexible hours and adjust to changing operational needs.
