**Job Overview**:
The University Students’ Council at Western University is seeking a Manager, Commercial Services in the Building and Business Development Department on a Full-Time Permanent basis.

The Manager, Commercial Services position will focus on coordinating and soliciting sponsorship revenues by developing and maintaining sponsorship opportunities for various USC events and initiatives. It will ensure all deliverables are executed according to the sponsorship agreement.

Furthermore, this position will work in conjunction with the InfoSource Manager to ensure excellent customer service is provided to all stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to, covering the front desk in the operation in the late afternoon/evening, assuring vendors’ expectations are met, retail space is secured, and all bookings are reconciled in a timely manner.

**Job Title**: Manager, Commercial Services

**Reports To**: Senior Manager, Building and Business Development

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Sponsorship Coordination_
- Prepare and present sponsorship quotes.
- Collect payment & reconcile with finance.
- Assist with sponsorship execution.
- Seekout new business by sending out Sponsorship packages.
- Oversee Sponsorship budget.
- InfoSource_
- Responsible for providing front line customer service at the InfoSource front desk.
- Prepare and distribute setup map.
- Assist with Atrium, Lower Level and Concrete Beach setup and teardown.
- Financial functions, assist with billings and end of day reconciliation.
- Responsible for closing InfoSource at the end of each day.
- Customer Service and Compliance_
- Resolve issues with vendors and clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with sponsors or individuals to ensure that they meet the terms of their contracts and expectations while using USC space.
- Identify and address contravention of policies and procedures when dealing with authorized and unauthorized parties.
- Provide support for administrative duties associated with InfoSource and the Purple Store including but not limited to: sorting mail, oversight of poster control, Purple Store purchase pick up and opening/closing of the Purple Store/Infosource where required, etc.
- Staff Support_
- Monitoring employee work performance and interaction with students and clients.
- Onsite injury and work refusal monitoring in compliance with the OHSA.
- Supervision_
- Supports and oversees the Coordinator, InfoSource in the absence of the Manager, InfoSource.

**Qualifications**
- BA in a related discipline or equivalent
- 2-4 years of customer service experience
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience
- Supervision in a unionized environment is an asset
