JPOSITION: Oyster Shucker / Labourer

STARTING WAGE: piece work for shucking / hourly work = $19.00/hr

POSITION TO START: Immediately

Limberis Seafood Processing Ltd. is one of the oldest and largest clam and oyster farm and processing / depuration plant in BC. We are located in Ladysmith, 25 min south of Nanaimo, and 1 hour north of Victoria, and in close proximity to Nanaimo International Airport and BC Ferries. The town itself is located on the beautiful waters of the Salish Sea, offering all kinds of marine activities to local residents.

Limberis Seafood Processing Ltd. is looking for a competent, punctual, energetic person who is willing to learn new tasks to fill the Oyster Shucker / Labourer position opening currently available.

- bondable
- able to perform heavy lifting and repetitive motions
- able to carry out cleaning and sanitizing procedures
- able to work as part of a team

**Shucking experience an asset**

**Food Safe training and/or previous work in seafood processing an

asset**

**Shucking will be paid at an hourly rate ($19.00) until proficient, with earning potential of up to $30.00 per hour**.

Benefits will be offered after 3 months of full-time.
