Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages. You will diagnose and treat various eye conditions, prescribe corrective lenses, and educate patients on proper eye care.

**Duties**:

- Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and ocular health
- Diagnose and manage various eye conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Epic)
- Stay informed about advancements in optometry and participate in continuing education to enhance knowledge and skills

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Strong knowledge of optical principles, medical terminology, and ocular diseases
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Epic)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience in providing eye care services to diverse patient populations, including seniors and pediatric patients, is preferred
- Sales experience is a plus
