Complete Concrete Restoration Ltd. are lookinf for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a keen eye for detail.
- **Responsibilities**_
**Project coordination**
- Coordinate and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
- Create, maintain, and manage project documentation in coordination with the Project Manager
- Visit the project site, as necessary, and to correspond with the project superintendent to review their project needs.
- Measure/track ongoing unit price item quantities throughout the duration of a project
- Calculate/order requisite material for a project and track surplus of materials
- Create/update project schedules, budgets and project documentation
- Work with safety manager to maintain electronic filing of all relevant safety documentation required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and for COR certification
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements
- Read, interpret, and understand project specifications/drawings and relevant building codes
- Attending site meetings and assisting in the completion of project deficiencies and prepare and maintain various reports and records
**Estimation**
- Interpret tender/construction documentation, complete detailed quantity take-offs, and obtain pricing for material and sub-contractors
- Create detailed cost estimates for potential projects
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of material unit costs, system square foot costs, and total building square foot costs.
- Assist in the preparation of bid packages, proposals and prequalification submissions
- **Skills, Qualifications & Experience**_
- Solid organizational, analytical and prioritizing skills
- 1 - 3 years related experience; construction experience is an asset.
- G licence
- Proficiency with MS Office specifically Microsoft Excel & MS Project (or similar) is required.
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
