**Position Description**:
The **Supervisor of Protection Services** provides 24 hour direction and supervision to all security officers on shift, and ensures they carry out their duties in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner. He/she is responsible for managing the department of Protection Services when the Coordinator and/or Manager of Patient Support Services is not on the property while maintaining proactive protection of Hospital, Patients, Visitors, Staff and assets.

- Ensure efficient operations, plan departmental goals and effective security officer training

**Here’s What You’ll Need**
- College certificate, or equivalent, with 2 years of security or fire protection management experience
- Specific experience within a health care environment is an asset
- Knowledge of legal and investigative processes
- Good oral and written communications, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to deal with confidential issues and interact with people at all levels within the organization

**Employment Type**

Full-time permanent (37.5 hours/week)
