We are searching for a music and movement educator to add to our program by designing a music and movement program that will instill a lifelong love for music while fostering essential skills such as creativity, confidence, and cooperation.

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate music curriculum for children ages 18 months-5, focusing on fundamental musical concepts and skills.
- Lead interactive music classes, incorporating a variety of activities such as singing, movement, rhythm exercises, and instrumental play.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel encouraged to explore and express themselves through music.
- Foster social and emotional development through collaborative music-making experiences and group activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in Music Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with young children in a classroom or group setting, preferably in a music education context.
- Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument and a strong foundation in music theory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and parents alike.
- Creative and adaptable teaching style, with a passion for developing innovative lesson plans and activities.
- Access to musical instruments for the children to use during the class

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 3 per week
