**IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR**:Accounting Supervisor

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Posts customer payments by re cording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from lock box and local deposits.
- Updates receivable by totaling unpaid invoices.
- Maintains invoices, debits, and credits.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating in f formation from sales, customer service departments, and from customers.
- Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
- Resolves invalid or unauthorized deduct ions by following pending deductions procedures.
- Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line, coordinating contact with sales department.
- Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates jo b knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Reporting directly to the office supervisor
- Reconciling daily cash sale in voices for corporate stores, reporting results to store managers/upper management.
- Daily reconciling cashier till drawers
- Various accounting duties

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Accounting
- Data Entry Skills
- Comfortable with financial soft ware
- Analyzing information and problem solving
- Able to work as a team member as much as individually
- Attention to detail
- Organized person
- General Math Skills, good with numbers
- Verbal communication skills

**PROBATION PERIOD**

3 to 6 months

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour
