WHAT TO EXPECT

The technical advisor is the main link between the customer and the service agents and technicians. He analyzes and understands customer needs, proposes effective solutions, and provides explanations on the operation and technical features of the various products. He establishes and maintains a bond of trust with customers, ensures their satisfaction and loyalty, and promotes the sale of parts and after-sales services.

**Here's an overview of your tasks**:
Understanding and mastering the specifics of the various products and services offered
Responsible for major customer accounts
Listening to and analyzing customer needs, explaining how products work and/or what repairs are required
Recommend and promote the sale of parts, after-sales services and maintenance programs
Documentation and information transfer between technicians and customers
Prepare work orders
Schedule and coordinate appointments with service technicians
Ensure customer satisfaction in relation to after-sales service

**Various administrative tasks such as**:

- Order entry, analysis and review
- Invoicing
- Warranty registration
- Updating customer files

Creation and revision of technical documents
Guide customers in the maintenance of their agricultural products
Analysis of technical problems
Resource person to explain a problem and recommend solutions
Follow-up with customers and follow-up as needed
Assist and support service agents and technicians as needed
Participate in various technical committees
Participate in continuous improvement projects
Technology watch
Ongoing training
All other related tasks
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
DEC in Mechanical Engineering or any other training and/or experience deemed equivalent
Experience in a similar position (an asset)
Facilitation and moderation of meetings and discussion groups (an asset)
Fluency in spoken and written English
Good listening and communication skills
Organizational skills
Demonstrate rigor
Customer-oriented attitude
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of applied mechanics
Agricultural knowledge (an asset)

Permanent, full-time position Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Cell phone guard (in rotation) - (Monday to Friday - 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm)
