CRC Health Centre is looking for casual Cardiac Technicians to join our team

We are currently hiring an additional Cardiac Technician to run stress tests**.** The hours are flexible, with each shift ranges between 4 to 8 hours. We offer competitive wages and a great working environment

As a Cardiac Technician, your responsibilities include:

- Perform stress testing
- Explain procedures and answer patient questions in preparation for testing
- Scan and analyze stress test strips; select and assess portions of test strips and summarize for interpretation by medical staff
- Enter patient test information as per department protocols into a dedicated cardiac test server
- Upload and maintain appropriate files and reports according to established procedures/policies
- Report any abnormal symptoms during testing to the attending specialist
- Maintain equipment by cleaning and replacing items as required

To join our team, you have:

- Completed a recognized Cardiology Technology Program at the Diploma level; and
- Certified by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT).
