‣ General Board Member (Director)

MIAG board members are expected to share their experience and knowledge in one or more of the areas of policy development, program management, financial sustainability, volunteer management, and organizational leadership.

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of Peel region dynamics, challenges, and resources.
- Professional experience, education and/or training in one or more of the following areas: Organizational Planning, Leadership, Community Development, Networking and Collaboration, Community Advocacy, Law, Fundraising, and Financial Management.

**Commitments**:

- Attend monthly board meetings (2 hours in the evening from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.) sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Participate in sub-committees (if interested)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- On call

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L4Y 2Z6
