Working in Canadian Tire Digital, you will be an integral part of the Digital Delivery Excellence team and responsible for the continuous delivery of e-commerce technology. Specifically, you will be partnering with the Product Owner and enabling the team to deliver the highest value priorities to our customers and our business. **What you’ll do**
- Advises, coaches, and leads Agile teams on Agile values, practices, and processes and ensures that the Agile team is fully functional, productive, and focused on the sprint goal.
- Proactively supports the Product Owner to ensure team is focused on sprint goals.
- Helps the team create value and products with quality. Clears the runway so that the team can meet the quarterly objectives. Working with the team, creates the tools to measure success and recognize progress.
- Recognizes areas of strength and improvement by employing appropriate coaching and development techniques for team members.
- Strives for continuous improvement both for self and for the team. Recognizes opportunities for automation and other tools & processes so that the team can delivery more effectively.
- Contributes to improve agile management best practices within the Enterprise to help maintain and promote agile management practices professionalism.
- Identifies dependencies with other teams and determines how to manage those dependencies without impacting the progress of the team.
- Participates and collaborates in cross functional planning sessions to raise milestones, issues, dependencies, etc.
- Provides a high level of relationship management, resolving conflicts and enabling discussions between stakeholders, management, co-workers and team members with varied interests.
- Rigorously facilitates communication and collaboration inside and outside the teams.
- Provides feedback, coaching and mentoring to team members while also contributing the same to the Scrum Master community of practice.
- Fosters a continuous learning environment helping teams to inspect and adapt.
- Prepares and delivers Executive level presentations; facilitates workshops; handles complex questions from varied audiences.
- Facilitates the decision-making process; is proactive in taking the initiative and the lead for identifying and resolving issues.
- Leads outcome based Agile events—scrum, sprint review, planning and retrospective meetings in a way that ensures full team engagement.
- Fosters close cooperation across all team members and encourages cross-training and support of each other.
- Applies a structured approach to problem-solving, understands the context and impact of risks and issues, and takes real measures to get to resolution.
- Participates in an Agile center of excellence and will have opportunity to coach and mentor Scrum Masters and learn from others.
- The Scrum Master may also manage budgets and 3rd party relationships, adhering to standards for delivery as the company evolves traditional project delivery models towards Agile methods.

**What you bring**
- 3+ years of relevant work experience with Agile and Delivery
- Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSM) or equivalent
- Specific experience in Agile methodologies such as SAFe is an asset.
- Computer science, engineering, or technology background is an asset
- Knowledgeable about various Agile methodologies and experienced in coaching Scrum and Kanban teams.
- Delivery or software development background. Education in Computer Science or similar is preferred.
- Strong communication skills - Able to propagate information promptly, clearly, and unambiguously.
- Team Leadership-experienced in assessing and driving necessary actions to improve.
- Able to develop and foster teamwork and facilitate team dynamics.
