The incumbent will facilitate and coordinate the day-to-day creative and relating production efforts under the direction of the Creative Director. They will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various creative projects and project elements, ensuring successful delivery. The Creative Project Manager will work closely with the Creative Director and is expected to understand their business objectives and pro-actively provide solutions. The creative project manager is expected to co-ordinate and expedite the workflow processes necessary to ensure best utilization of available and required resources, measuring KPI of performance and success. **Project Planning and Project Management**
- Manages multiple creative projects and/or project elements simultaneously, maintains an overview of projects from start to finish, ensuring successful project completion against deadlines and budgets.
- Works closely with key stakeholders from Creative, Studio, Production and Account teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Manages and regularly updates creative project management/resourcing tool.
- Works with Creative Director to assess and understand talent needs, then matches creative staff to projects.
- Acts as the department’s internal point of contact for booking of creative talent and resolves resource booking conflicts.
- Determines project risk on an ongoing basis, escalating issues as required and recognizes internal creative needs or project risks before they occur.
- Monitors out of scope requests, elevates issues immediately to initiate additional estimating/billing.
- Maintains constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities.
- Monitors day to day project activities and resourcing, tracks over-/under-utilization of creative staff, pro-actively works on resolving any issues.
- Proactively provides required updates to Creative Director in a timely fashion.
- Proactively works with producers and production leads to monitor schedules and project needs for creative.
- Manages communication around shifting priorities with key stakeholders and maintains communications with appropriate stakeholders to ensure a positive workflow.
- Escalates exceptions and issues to Creative Director as required.
- Assists in managing the production of new business presentations and materials as assigned.

**Administrative & Financial**
- Arranges weekly meetings with Creative Director, to review all current and upcoming projects,potential new business and to keep up to speed with any new developments.
- Schedules creative review meetings for creative staff with Creative Director, and general creative dept. meetings, like monthly safety talks for the department.
- Organizes on-boarding activities for newly hired creative staff and creative freelancers and updates documentation as necessary.
- Reviews creative freelance invoices for accuracy, resolves issues if necessary, and submits invoices to accounting.
- Produces creative estimates utilizing established formulas and templates, works with internal project stakeholders during the estimating process, then submits estimates to Creative Director for final approval.
- Works with producers/production staff to ensure proper estimating, billing, and invoicing and reviews final billing reports for accuracy. Escalates exceptions and issues as required.

- Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in marketing, advertising, communication or related field.
- 5+ years experience in creative project management, resource management in advertising/communications agencies and/or marketing/content creation field.
