Join the team at **NuVista Mental Health Ottawa** as a **Client Care Specialist**. Shifts could include 9am-5pm and 10am-6pm, some weekend shifts and flexibility to cover vacation is required.

As the Client Care Specialist you will provide ongoing support for a multidisciplinary clinic. Reporting to the Clinic Operations Manager, you will be responsible for scheduling client appointments, processing all billings, collecting fees from clients, confirming insurance coverage, and following up on any missed payments. You will also help support the clinic by fielding phone calls and inquiries, maintaining a tidy reception area, and providing excellent customer service to our valued clients.

NuVista Mental Health provides high quality mental health services to the members of our community by offering services in Psychiatry, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Social Work, and Neurofeedback.

Our team of clinicians have decades of combined experience and believe in providing mental health services that will treat and address underlying issues over the long term, rather than offering a quick, temporary fix. Our goal is to help our clients find the path to their best self so they can move forward with the tools they need for long-term success.

- Ability to learn quickly and effectively use various computer billing and reporting systems
- Ability to maintain confidential records and information
- Leads by example and practices good time management skills
- Knowledge and experience of modern office practices that optimize technology and time management
- Completion of a recognized Administration and/or Business Certificate (or equivalent) or three years administrative experience is required
- Experience in a mental health clinic experience would be considered an asset
- Experience with WSIB and/or Blue Cross billing and EMR technology would be considered an asset

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
