Why Compucom? (Overview):
The Preventative Maintenance Technician performs non-technical and technical maintenance activities working physically onsite at our client site with service coverage hours of 7/365 4:00am-8:00pm for 10-hour shifts.

**Schedule** : 4 days a week

**Timings**:4:00am-8:00pm - 10-hour shifts.

What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

- Perform a complete visual inspection of all components. Check all PC fans for functionality and vacuum/dust. Check air vents for all other hardware and vacuum/dust. Wipe down and dust outside of all hardware (PC, Monitors, Peripherals, Printers, Content Displays, or Customer Self-Serve hardware). Wipe down and dust surrounding workstation/desk/counter
- Open and vacuum/dust printer components (ie: paper trays). Clean scanner bed with glass cleaner for printers with scan functionality. Check printer paper and toner levels (replace or restock as necessary). Ensure Content Displays display the correct content. Wipe LCD / Touchscreens with glass cleaner
- Ensure all cabling is firmly connected and secured with appropriate cable management. Ensure appropriate and visible asset labelling, which may include IT support contact information (re-label if necessary)
- Calibrate and test touchscreens. Verify display settings for Monitors, Touchscreens, and Content Displays

Who You Are (Qualifications):

- High School Diploma or equivalent education is preferred
- Work experience in deskside technologies
- CompTIA A+ would be an advantage
- Proficient with current iterations of Windows and MS Office, PCs, Tablets, printers, and other peripherals, etc.,
- Good English Oral and written communication skills
- Must work well in a multi-task team environment.

**Expectations**:

- Schedule is based on shift work, supporting the client from 4:00am to 8:00pm (7 days/week, including all Stat Holidays)
- Overtime may be required.
