Position Overview:
The Quality Control & Quality Assurance Manager, as a key leadership position, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control and quality assurance functions within the organization. Drawing from their extensive industry experience, the director will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, implement robust quality systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role will demand strategic thinking, strong leadership capability and collaborative teamwork.

Please find the key responsibilities of the Quality Control & Quality Assurance Manager as follows:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive quality control and quality assurance strategy, incorporating industry best practices and aligning with regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain effective quality control processes and procedures across all operational areas, including manufacturing, packaging, and distribution.
- Lead the development and implementation of robust quality systems, encompassing document control, deviation management, change control, and risk management.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to a team of quality professionals, fostering their growth, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as R&D, production, and regulatory departments, to drive alignment and continuous improvement of quality processes.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to evaluate compliance with quality standards, identify areas for enhancement, and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), generating reports and offering recommendations to senior management.
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and process optimization, leveraging industry best practices.
- Stay abreast of evolving industry regulations, trends, and advancements in quality control and quality assurance practices, integrating relevant updates into organizational processes.
- Establish and maintain effective supplier quality management processes, actively participating in supplier audits and evaluations.
- Foster relationships with regulatory authorities, engaging in inspections and proactively addressing any compliance-related concerns.
- Lead investigations into quality incidents, non-conformities, and customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and driving preventive actions.
- Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization, emphasizing awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including customers and vendors, to address quality-related matters and cultivate strong partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality control and quality assurance roles within the industry or a closely related field.
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards, encompassing GMP, ISO, and other relevant guidelines.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing effective quality systems and processes.
- Exceptional leadership skills, inspiring and motivating teams to achieve excellence.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail, emphasizing accuracy and precision in quality management practices.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment, driving collaboration and achieving shared objectives.
- A forward-thinking mindset, staying updated on industry best practices and driving their integration into organizational processes.
