Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The Dietitian will be responsible for assessing residents nutritional needs, developing and implementing dietary plans.

**Duties**:

- Assess residents health needs and diet
- Research new developments in the field of long term care as it relates to diet and dietary requirements
- Develop personalized nutrition plans based on individual requirements
- Monitor residents progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care
- Keep accurate and updated records of residents progress
- Discuss care plan meetings with families of residents so that they are included in the necessary programs and active participation in the Pharmacy Committee

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Foods and Nutrition, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be registered with the Nova Scotia College of Dietitians and Nutritionists
- Excellent ability to manage high stress or highly emotional situations
- Sound judgement and able to execute decisions efficiently

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $41.31 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
