**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- The Process Control Technician will promote a safe, clean and comfortable work environment. This person has a thorough knowledge of electrical safety regulations, ESA, CSA and arch flash safety.
- The troubleshooting, programming, and maintenance of PLC’s, specifically but not limited to Omron and Siemens control systems.
- The troubleshooting, programming and maintenance of Robotics equipment specifically but not limited to Kuka and Fanuc.
- The Troubleshooting, programming and maintenance of CNC machines. A thorough understanding of G code programing will be required. This individual will be required to fill in when the CNC programmer is on vacation.
- The Preventative Maintenance of all electrical equipment.
- The understanding and use of InfraRed Scanning.
- The maintenance and updating of all electrical equipment drawings and PLC programs
- The Installation and wiring of small electrical control projects
- This Individual can be required to work overtime.
- The individual will be expected to correct small mechanical issues that could arise. For example, should a drive belt need replacement, he would be expected to replace the belt.

**Education and Experience**:

- A Diploma in Electrical Controls Technology from an Accredited College Program

OR
- Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering University Degree with proven record of hands on PLC work experience
- A 442A License in Industrial Electrician with additional courses taken in PLC, CNC and Robotics
- 1-3 years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment (including co-op experience)
- Excellent communication skills, good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Must be a strong self-directed individual who demonstrates reliability
- Experience working within a unionized Manufacturing Environment an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $39.60-$40.59 per hour
