Before and After School Educator

**This is a split shift post working from 6:30am to 9:30am AND 3:30pm to 6:00pm in a school age environment.** Opportunities for additional hours is available, full day PA day, school holidays, absenteeism and vacation coverage.

**Skills and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care
- Build positive relationships with children by providing caring and nurturing interactions
- Demonstrate an active role in the learning environment by participating in child centered activities, playing games with children, both indoors and outdoors
- Actively communicate with children through all learning opportunities

**Qualifications**:

- Registered member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE)
- Ability to acquire and provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
- Current certification in First Aid/CPR Level C
- Reliable transportation to report to centre at 6:30am**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 27.5 per week

**Salary**: $24.50 per hour
