VSA Art+Design Studio is a local art and design educational organization dedicated to offering quality art programs and services to the public and individuals. We are looking for a full-time Front Desk Associate to join our team. If you are an organized and responsible team player who loves to work in the office and enjoys a creative environment, we would like to hear from you.

**Job Types**: Full-time

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor students and employees check-in & check-out;
- Assist in the inventory of art materials, and record the storage of art materials
- Fee collection, bookkeeping & data entry;
- Communicate with parents and instructors;
- Assist and support the instructor in the delivery of course curriculum and art programs;
- Assist with web, newsletter, marketing promotion for social media;
- Support the team with deliver of the projects, workshops and special events when required;
- Organize and cleaning the classroom as well as the office;
- Perform other duties as required by the studio.

**Qualifications**:

- MUST have oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin;
- Experience in a front desk/administration position is preferred;
- Proficiency with computer software including MS Office, Adobe Creative is an asset;
- Effective organizational skills and multi-tasking skills;
- Ability to follow directions, work with a sense of urgency and energy;
- Available to work evenings and Saturday;
- Interest in the arts and in developing community connections through the arts;
- Patience working with children;
- A valid BC driver' license is an asset but not required

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
