**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor inventory stock levels and generate Purchase Orders
- Submit Purchase Orders to Vendors according to customer delivery expectations
- Update Pack-and-Slips with inventory availability and order inventory as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes to enable anyone referencing notes to work effectively
- Maintain vendors information and make updates to existing accounts in system
- Verify product pricing, availability and accuracy of orders
- Create new items and update existing items in system
- Address inquires and issues from vendors regarding payment, refunds, short ship, damage in transit; and work together with finance to rectify
- Follow up on Purchase Orders to confirm receipt and timing for product delivery
- Inform appropriate team members promptly if delivery will miss due date
- Complete work within accepted timelines, and ask for assistance when required
- Work to reduce errors by double checking, communicating with others and asking for support
- Complete month end procedures, reconciliations and reports within due dates
- Update and maintain price list on server
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement
- Knowledge of purchasing processes, procedures, and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks and experience with inventory management software
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Knowledge of the electrical utility industry is a plus

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
