Reporting to the Operations Cost Analysis Manager, the **CAPEX Analyst** will be responsible to manage, track and report on all financial transactions from forecasting, planning, budgeting, requisitions, PO’s, invoices, and reporting related to all capital projects of the organization..

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide regular updates and summary of financial progress versus budget for all projects.
- Work with Procurement to validate all project invoices against PO and contract for payment terms and progress payment.
- Prepare monthly financial reports tracking spending and updating forecast with input from project management team.
- Gather data and perform calculation to validate lease / buy decisions before project approval.
- Participate with project management as project MEA’s are being written to ensure calculations are accurate and complete.
- Work with team to gather data and verify transactions during end of year audit.
- Enter MEA’s into the MEA system and track updates & progress through approval stream weekly.
- Participate in project review meetings and project presentations to management.
- Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**
- College diploma in accounting or relevant experience
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in industry *an asset
- Advanced knowledge with MS Office (Excel), accounting software programs
- Bilingual: English and French (oral and written) *required
- Criminal background check
- Experience developing financial reports.
- Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in projects across an organization.
- Strong verbal and written skills. Must be able to present ideas and solutions in a clear, concise manner.

**CONDITIONS AND BENEFITS**
- Salary: 65k-75k - according to experience
