**Where Outcome works?** Outcome’s head office is in Ottawa, but our projects are almost entirely in the North. We have active project in all three Territories, with job sites in Yellowknife, Hay River, NT and Resolute Bay NU and we have permanent staff in Vancouver, Yellowknife, Toronto and Ottawa.

**What will you do?** You have to be prepared to lead a project team, and to help us develop and expand our business by looking for new clients and new opportunities. **Responsibilities**:
Responsible as an intermediate manager within the environmental services division by carrying out the following:

- Business development to identify and evaluate new opportunities with clients and potential partners/collaborators for OCI. Preparing the recommendation to the Environmental Division Manager on the go/no-go decision for new opportunities.
- Overseeing or preparing proposals outlining the means and methods, cost estimates, schedules, and risk management plan for new project pursuits.
- Successfully launching environmental site assessments or remediation projects, establishing the team structure and roles, and managing the projects to ensure it is achieving all of its metrics.
- Completing quality assurance reviews on project outputs, and when necessary, carrying out certain operational aspects of complex projects.
- Liaising between the client, OCI personnel, suppliers, and external stakeholders
- Leading and preparing regular reports related to quality, financial, schedule, and safety performance for the portfolio of environmental projects assigned to you
- Providing business guidance to the Environmental Division Manager and OCI President
- Support the Environmental Division Manager in the recruitment of personnel
- Initiating project reviews during and at project close-out and documenting lessons learned

**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in environmental engineering or related earth sciences program
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the environmental industry
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing projects.
- Project Management training an asset.

**Abilities**
- Must be able to comprehend and communicate orally and in writing in English.

**Work Environment**:

- The majority of work will occur in an office setting. Must be able to travel (air travel is required) for business development or fieldwork in remote locations, from time to time.
- Field work will largely be in the summer months.
