The System Analyst is responsible for managing and optomizing the Human Capital Management (HCM) system to support the organization’s Human Resources (HR) functions. The incumbent will support the HR team and other employees of the company; ensuring lines of communication remain open between the HR department and its customers. This position will provide a customer focused support service to the HR Team to achieve organizational goals and objectives. The incumbent is the Function Lead for the ongoing Canadian HCM Implementation.
- Participate as the Functional Lead for Canada in the implementation of new HCM modules or upgrades, ensuring a smooth transition and mínimal disruption to HR processes
- Act as liaison between HR Canada and Global Business Applications (BA) Implementation team to troubleshoot issues and implement new functionality
- Assist in determining implementation scope, preparation of system and integration specifications, and attend regular project meetings
- Assist in HCM process development
- Provide training to HR Canada HCM users on functionalities and best practices
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on HCM processes, configurations, and training material including scripts and Quick Reference Guides
- Support end users, including employees accessing the HCM through Employee/Manager Self Service (E/MSS)
- Be familiar with HCM processes for data entry to properly identify data integrity and trouble shoot system or process issues
- Manage regional reports within HCM as required by customers
- Provide general administrative support such as preparing correspondence and reports, processing confidential reports and documents, tracking deadlines, and taking down minutes as needed
- Maintain confidentiality with regards to employee relations and organizational changes, protecting the security of information, data, and files

**Education and Work Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field
- Two (2) years’ experience in a Human Resources administrative role

**Knowledge Required**
- Knowledge of HCM platforms and their functionalities; Oracle is preferred
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Detail oriented with strong organization and prioritizing skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially with Excel and Word
- Able to present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
- Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines, and targets
- Ability to perform tasks with mínimal supervision
