We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team.

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. Your expertise in carpentry will contribute to the successful completion of various construction projects.

**Duties**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and materials required
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials (e.g., wood, plywood, drywall) according to project requirements
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and molding
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools and power tools
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as sanding, staining, and varnishing surfaces
- Collaborate with other construction professionals (e.g., architects, engineers) to ensure project success
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter in
Canada
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction methods
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Experience with various carpentry tools and equipment (e.g., saws, drills)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

**Skills**:

- Blueprint reading and interpretation for accurate construction execution
- Ability to assemble structures using appropriate techniques and materials
- Proficiency in carpentry tasks such as framing, siding installation, cabinet installation, concrete forming, etc.
- Knowledge of construction estimating for material planning and cost analysis
- Experience working with power tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to restore damaged or worn-out structures to their original condition

Payment will be based on piecework per day, depending on qualifications and experience.

Pay: $19.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
