As a manufacturing supervisor, you will contribute to the success of the Company by leading and managing our manufacturing group to ensure the execution of manufacturing results. In this role, you will...
- Lead the primary manufacturing team to meet the objectives of machine integration and customers.
- Manage shift schedules including vacation and overtime.
- Continuously analyze and recommend manufacturing and process improvements.
- Adhere to ISO and liaison with Operations Manager to ensure accuracy, methods, and process follow-through.
- Influence Manufacturing process initiatives and set standards for best practices.
- Organize and facilitate the parts manufacturing process.
- Managing of manufacturing spare parts through completion/shipping.
- Maintains material inventory and coordinates with the materials department to procure sufficient stock.
- Mentor and consult staff on individual goal setting, monitoring progress and constructive feedback
- Support recruiting activities for manufacturing including evaluating staff members.

- Technical School Diploma, Trade Certification or Equivalent Certificate of Qualification and experience
- Red Seal Machining Inter-Provincial (IP) Certificate
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Machinist (CNC and manual milling)
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation and methodology
- Previous experience in custom machine building, automation or packaging equipment considered an asset
- Must be able to interpret and understand technical and assembly drawings and prints
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP system (Syteline a plus)
