**Customer Service Specialist/Office Administrator**

**Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Input orders into the ERP system and complete the cycle via invoicing, credit card payments, collections, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
- Prepare and edit documents including correspondence, or international shipments in an accurate and timely manner
- Investigate and resolve customer invoicing queries
- Maintain up to date accounts receivable customer files and records

**EDUCATION**:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline is an asset

**EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE**:

- Minimum of 5 years customer service or administration experience preferably in a manufacturing / Distribution environment
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**:

- Ability to exhibit a calm friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor all times
- Skillful in keyboard data entry functions with speed and accuracy
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills with multitasking ability
- Information management and maintaining confidentialityMarkham Distributor is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers, answering questions, assisting in the order entry process, and resolving customer complaints. The Customer Service Representative will work closely with the sales team and will be involved in the overall customer service experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Answer phones and answer basic questions about our products and services
- Booking appointments
- Enter orders into accounting system and process credit card payments
- Process returns and exchanges of products
- Update website customers about their account status or order status
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers (we call it “ethereal”ness)

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON L3R 3W1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
