Sanitation and Production Cleaner

We are looking for **Sanitation & Production** **Cleaner **personnel for our client located in **Mississauga**. This position is responsible for completing proper cleanup and sanitation tasks of vat-type equipment used to process milk and Yoghurt filling machine and is responsible for the general handling of dairy products.
**Responsibilities**:
- Disassembly and reassembly of production pipes, pumps, and valves pipes and perform necessary cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembling of these pieces of equipment.
- Scrub processing tanks and vats and assist with cleaning other areas of the facility.
- Clean dust, soil, oil, and grease from mixing equipment, machinery, overhead pipes, and conveyors.
- Complete basic preventive maintenance of gaskets, seals,” O’ rings plates etc. on all product contact surfaces as needed of fluid milk and milk by-products.
- Perform basic housekeeping to include cleaning floors, walls, ceiling, air vents, lights, etc., of the plant, equipment, and exterior of all equipment.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are clean, sanitized and in good working condition before and after use.
- Move raw materials, finished products and packaging materials to the Production area.
- Operate packaging machinery.
- Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers.
- Load packaging materials into machines.
- Move filled containers from conveyors onto skids.
- Manually pack dairy products into boxes or other containers.
- Practice proper hand washing techniques.
- Advise Production management of any deviation from standard practices.
- Provide input to develop new processes as part of continuous improvement.
**Requirements**:

- Experience of CIP & knowledge of Chemicals
- Teamwork
- Able to accurately follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Good Communication
- Tolerance for Stress
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, frequent deadline environment
- Overtime may be required
**Location**: Mississauga
**Pay Rate**: $18 to $20
**Shift time**: 1:00pm (8 - 9 hours) (Mon - Fri)
**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
