We are seeking a skilled **CNC Operator **with a background in cabinetry and custom millwork fabrication to join our team, contributing expertise in programming, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery, particularly in the context of custom cabinetry and millwork production.

**Job Summary**
The CNC Operator will be responsible for programming, set-up, and operation of CNC equipment for use on a variety of materials, organizing workflow and assisting the fabricators with component assembly. This role requires experience in software programming and the ability to work collaboratively with design and production teams to deliver high-quality results that meet client specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **CNC Programming and Operation**: Program and operate CNC machines to produce components with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- **Software Proficiency**: Utilize CNC programming software, with experience in the software VCarve being a strong asset, to create and modify machine instructions.
- **Custom Fabrication**: Collaborate with the CAD and production teams to understand project requirements and translate them into precise components, and assist fabricators with component assembly as required.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards and adjust processes as needed.
- **Machine Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator, preferably in cabinetry or custom millwork.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation, with VCarve experience being an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience assembling custom millwork would be an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot programming and equipment issues.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
