Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized individual to join our team in Calgary, Alberta on a full-time basis in an administrative role.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Opening and closing duties
- Administrative and clerical duties such as preparing, managing, filing documentation and assist with Human Resources administrative tasks and duties as required
- Organize meetings within the team and with Customers, performing dictations and follow up actions
- Coordinating with third party services, such as telephone, internet, water, etc.
- Placing orders for office essentials and providing accounting with appropriate receipts
- Light cleaning duties
- Lead/Support event activations and registration nights
- Communication with our BC Office
- Shipping & receiving support, involving: unpacking, counting, folding, sizing and repacking for special orders (Boxes can weigh 5-30 lbs)
- Sample management and inventory
- Comply to company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace
- Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm and work on weekends may be required from time to time. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Qualifications and requirements:

- Impeccable customer service (dealing with all customer queries in a friendly, efficient & effective manner)
- Excellent communication, computer & organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Adaptable and flexible in a fluid and fast paced environment
- Class 5 License and access to a vehicle

Added Assets:
Interest in and/or experience in local sports, Microsoft, CorelDRAW and/or photoshop would all be considered beneficial for this role.

Human Resources background or knowledge would be considered an asset.

Pay: From $36,000.00 to $40,000 per year based on experience
