**SUMMARY**

The Facility Manager III is responsible for leading, coordinating and overseeing all Facilities/Office Services related scope/contractors at the Burrard Terminal site. Hands on work to be completed by on site contractors. This role will provide onsite day to day support to all Facility contractors and will be accountable for on site Safety and all executed scope both planned and emergency in nature.

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsibilities will include planning and overseeing the execution of the facilities scope, including space planning, facility maintenance, emergency repairs and renovation projects to non-production assets.
- Incumbent will review & approve contractor Labour Equipment & Material (LEMs) to validate onsite work has been completed.
- Non-Process Building Services/Scope included are as follows:

- Fire Alarm Systems, Overhead Doors, Landscaping, Furniture, Janitorial/Housekeeping, Seasonal Mats/Laundry, Septic Pumping, Temp Toilets, Rental Trailers, Pest Control, Waste Management, HVAC preventative maintenance, Plumbing, Roads & Grounds / Snow Removal, Building/Facility Upkeep, Stationery & Copy Paper inventory/Coffee, Water, Refreshment Vending Machine services/Bulletin Board upkeep/Mail & Courier management/Shredding services.
- Incumbent will support the onboarding of new facilities vendors when needed.
- Incumbent will interface with Maintenance & Reliability Team on a regular basis, and other site occupants to properly schedule and complete planned work.
- Incumbent will provide weekly progress updates on planned work and communicate regularly with their Suncor Facilities Coordinator.
- Incumbent may be asked to support Emergency Operations Center when and if required

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Five to ten years’ experience in a property/facility management environment
- Community college diploma or equivalent training (e.g. RPA, CET)
- Excellent people management skills
- Self-starter, willing to learn, able to work independently
- Excellent business management/development skills
- Excellent at planning and organizing
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge of building standards and requirements
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Superior communication and facilitation skills required to advise and influence client
- Strong computer skills
- Strong customer focus
- Strong technical knowledge
- Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines under pressure

**Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation (One or more of the following)**
- Certified Facility Manager through International Facility Management Association (IFMA)
- Certified Property Manager through Institute of Real Estate Management
- Facility Management Administrator Designation through Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI)
- Real Property Administrator through Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI)
- PMP Project Management Professional
