**Role**:

- The purpose of this job is to perform janitorial duties in the warehouse in order to provide a clean work environment and to comply with all customer, internal, and legislative audits. **The shift schedule is: Saturday day shift; Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday afternoon shift**

**Role Responsibilities**:

- To perform the necessary cleaning function in the warehouse.
- To accurately record information on SYSCO and external documents.
- To provide customer service both externally and internally.
- Assist in inventory and purchases of janitorial supplies as requested.
- Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
- Is willing to work safely with mínimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
- Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements**:

- 2 years general warehouse or related is an asset.
- High school diploma preferred
- Exposure to operation of material handling equipment is an asset- **_
