Sharing your relevant clinical expertise, you will work closely with Lifemark’s regional leadership teams to ensure growth of Occupational Therapy within Lifemark’s network of clinics. This will be accomplished by driving the expansion of our services, focusing on client outcome efficiency, and through the reinforcement of accountability of our clinicians. You will offer professional and clinical support, as well as positive leadership guidance to our provincial leaders, regional directors, and clinic directors.

**Key responsibilities**:
**1. Operational Execution**:

- Execute strategic plans developed by senior leadership to optimize clinic operations.
- Implement efficient workflows and processes to enhance productivity and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

**2. Performance and Growth**:

- Drive growth initiatives and expansion of occupational therapy services across the organization.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and execute plans to enhance service delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
- Network to promote Lifemark occupational therapy services
- Participate in RFPs to determine the role/impact for the OT in future contracts and renewals

**3. Continuous Improvement**:

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance service quality.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence, encouraging staff to contribute ideas for improvement.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and track the impact of improvement efforts.
- Provide input on clinical practice optimisation for better overall team efficiency.

**4. Onboarding and Training**:

- Oversee the onboarding process for new occupational therapists and support staff, ensuring a smooth integration into the team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Provide ongoing professional development opportunities to support staff growth and retention.

**5. Leadership and Team Management**:

- Lead, mentor, and support a team of occupational therapists and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance.
- Facilitate the delivery of an inter-disciplinary approach to treatment and a client centered approach to care.
- Provide dedicated recruitment and retention support to attract and keep top talent.
- Work collaboratively with the regional leadership teams to support local strategic planning, integrated with National growth initiatives.

**Ideal qualifications include**:

- Management experience at a Senior Manager level is a requirement
- 7+ years clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
- Past experience managing operations across multiple locations and multi-site teams
- Business Development experience is a very strong asset
- Previous experience managing rehabilitation clinics is considered a strong asset
- Degree in business administration is considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others
- Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
- Experience treating clients in a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation setting
- Prior experience with workers compensation, MVA, insurance funded cases and occupational rehabilitation
- Outstanding communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Needs to reside in Ontario
