**Position Summary**

The Home Sharing Support Society BC (HSSSBC) provides research, consulting, and targeted communications to the Home Sharing community. We are currently seeking an experienced Research Analyst to work closely with our team to provide support in the disability sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs literature reviews, e -scans and gather demographic information.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to receive and share information.
- Summarizes research findings and identifies key information of interest, identify needs and potential gaps.
- Provide support on study design, database, and statistical methodology.
- Effectively and clearly communicate with employees regarding project details and deliverables.
- Prepare draft and make revisions for study deliverables (e.g. proposal, kick off slide decks, reports, publication items).
- Revise and finalize deliverables with project coordinator's guidance.
- Attends Research Analyst meetings, internal project meetings, and internal technical trainings.
- Understands and interpret statistical results.
- Ability to translate project calls into meeting minutes.
- Basic coaching and presentation skills.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree in relevant area of expertise. (e.g., Business, Social Work, Disability, Vulnerable Sector)
- Four or more years of research and analysis experience, with experience in diverse and complex environments.
- Experience working in the disability sector.
- Understanding of social programs and services related to community resources.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to negotiate with diverse groups to collaborate on feasible solutions.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent software skills (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Excel, Planner, Teams, Visio, etc.,)
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment. (Remote / In-Office)
- Ability to work independently with little direction.

**Preferred skills and qualifications**
- Experience working in a government environment.
- Understanding of social-based program and other applicable legislation, regulations and policies.

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Salary**: $44,845.96-$50,000.00 per year
