**Franchise Services Specialist**

Expedia Cruises is seeking an experienced Specialist to join the Franchise Services team to support franchisees through various key milestones of franchise ownership. You will be part of a team committed to the ongoing success of our network of franchisees and who are passionate about powering global travel for everyone, everywhere.

In this position, you will play a critical role in managing the store refranchise process and ultimately ensuring a smooth transition of ownership between current and new franchisees. Your ability to guide others through a defined process, achieving milestones and meeting deadlines is paramount to be successful in this role. You will also assist franchisees in meeting brand and operational requirements and support in the store sunset process. You will help drive the asset value of existing franchisees by ensuring stores adhere to our published brand and operating procedures during these processes.

What you’ll do:

- Manage and execute the Expedia Cruises refranchise program which assists franchisees in achieving their exit strategy goals after building a successful business
- Educate current franchisees and approved buyers on the refranchise process and requirements to complete the sale of the business
- Facilitate the refranchise process and mediate negotiations between buyer and seller
- Review offers and Purchase and Sale Agreements to ensure they meet Franchisor requirements
- Initiate the transfer of ownership and required changes in the internal system
- Conduct follow up as needed for store upgrades required following refranchise completion
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to execute processes and meet deadlines
- Support in completing the full store sunset process including procedure review with franchisees, managing booking transfers, database contact transfers and other ad-hoc projects as required
- Guide franchisees through defined processes and communicate requirements and deadline
- Maintain and update all process documentation, resources and assets

Who you are:

- 3-5 years experience in account or client management
- Degree in business or related discipline
- Attention to detail and accuracy while being able to multi-task is critical
- Previous experience in Mergers and Acquisitions is an asset
- Solid interpersonal skills including cross-functional team collaboration and service oriented
- Strong written and oral communication skills in complex scenarios
- Multi-tasker able to manage multiple projects at varying stages of completion
- Critical thinking and problem-solving are required traits
- Solid financial business acumen with the ability to read and interpret contracts, purchase & sale agreements, and financial information
- Ability to be ultra-responsive with heightened follow up
