Vrf Product Champion

We represent over 50 HVAC manufacturers, providing efficient and economical cooling and heating solutions for a variety of buildings. With a team of over 200 employees dedicated to sales and service, we are committed to meeting the diverse heating and cooling needs of our clients.
**Job Summary**: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to **champion** our **VRF product line**, driving sales growth and project wins through expertise, relationship building, and effective proposal development. You will collaborate with the sales team to ensure successful project execution in the growing **VRF market**.
**Responsibilities**:
- Proposal development and coordination: Partner with the sales team to craft compelling VRF proposals, manage submittals, and prepare for order entry.
- **Prepare for outside sales**: Gain valuable experience and insights working alongside the sales team, and participate in training programs to equip yourself for future success in a sales role.
- Project follow-up and management: Track project progress, address customer concerns, and ensure successful project completion from start to finish.
- Customer relationship building: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the VRF market segment.
- Travel with customers: Attend meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs as necessary.
- Conduct training sessions: Travel to manufacturer sites to undergo training, subsequently becoming an in-house trainer for the company.
- Troubleshooting and fixing: Travel to job sites to troubleshoot issues and provide on-site fixes for VRF systems.
- Serve as a **resource** for Sales Engineers: Assist Sales Engineers by providing valuable insights and **technical expertise** to support their sales efforts.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles and **VRF system design**. Prior experience with VRF technology is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- **Self-motivated** and results-oriented, with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Gear head mentality: Possess a mechanical mind and understanding of the nuts and bolts of VRF systems.
- Diplomatic skills: Must be diplomatic in handling customer interactions and representing the company.
- Versatility: Ability to adapt and be versatile in various aspects of VRF technology, from troubleshooting to customer service.
- Commitment to learning: Willingness to undergo continuous learning and development to enhance VRF expertise and improve processes.
- Travel: Occasional **travel to the USA** for training and company events will be **required**.
**Compensation and Benefits**:
- Competitive salary of $80,000 annually.
- 5% RRSP matching available after 3 months of employment
