Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Reporting to: Technology Manager

Diversco is looking for an energetic IT Support Specialist to join our busy location in Cambridge, Ontario.

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for assisting the IT Manager with day-to-day operations and up-coming IT projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting, monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting network hardware & software systems throughout our 5 corporate offices
- Investigate and research IT solutions to be applied in day-to-day operations.
- Work closely with a managed service provider by ensuring all issues are tracked and logged within our corporate ticketing system.
- Prioritize, evaluate, and triage issues to each appropriate department/personnel
- Familiarity with Windows/OS environments, active directory, TCP/IP, Virtual Servers and Office365 products
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with our staff while always striving for the highest employee service and satisfaction
- Create and document all newly identified issues with the solution into an IT knowledge base.
- Provide end-user training for common re-occurring issues
- Communicate effectively with the IT Manager to ensure appropriate information sharing and security protocols
- Assist with project coordination for large and small enterprise-wide initiatives and objectives
- Communicate opportunities for improvements for hardware, software, and support resources including standardization with integrity and reliability
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education with a focus on IT technology
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with Information technology
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 365
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of communication
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Willingness to learn and open to constructive feedback

This role requires the employee to work full time in our Cambridge, Ontario office and is flexible with a hybrid work arrangement.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$59,000.00 per year
