Scheduled hours/shifts: 35 hours per week

Position Purpose
Latcham Art Centre seeks an outgoing, responsible, creative, and flexible individual to act as art
Attendant and assisting at gallery events.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Assisting the instructor with the delivery of camp programming.
2. Preparing materials and projects.
3. Cleaning and maintenance of studio.

4. Supervising participants during the lunch break including programming games/activities for engagement.

5. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
This is a Canada Summer Jobs grant position and therefore it is open to youth aged 15 - 30;
Canadian citizens or permanent residents or have official refugee protection status under the
- Immigration and Refugee Protection Act_; and are legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Applicants must demonstrate the desire and the capability to work with children of all ages, have a passion for art and creativity, and a desire to impart this skill to children.

Previous, related experience an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and courteously with customers of all ages.
- Self-motivated with a professional attitude.
- Police record check or Vulnerable sector screening is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
