**Principal Responsibilities**:

- Install security measures and operate software associated with Information Security practices
- Plan upgrade to systems to ensure vulnerability protection
- Install and upgrade anti-malware software including working with EPP/XDR and MSSP providers
- Test and evaluate new technologies related to cybersecurity
- Perform penetration testing and/or work with third party security auditors to perform such testing
- Coordinate corporate security awareness training
- Analyze IT requirements and provide objective advice on the use of Information Security requirements
- Coordinate with other IT administration functions to implement desktop and server systems that utilize industry best practices in cybersecurity
- Ensure integrity and security of enterprise data on host computers, databases, and during data transfer is in accordance with business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
- Manage end user accounts, permissions, and access rights, in accordance with best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
- Perform regularly scheduled network and security audits related to SOC2
- Assist in RFP process and Third Party Risk Assessments related to Information Security
- Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, escalate and resolve cyber security incidents
- Conduct research on emerging cyber security products and standards
- Coordinate with ClaimSecure privacy and compliance teams
- Perform other duties as assigned to support ClaimSecure

**Knowledge, skills and experience**:

- College diploma or university degree in the field of Information Security, Computer Science and or 3-5 years equivalent work experience
- Cybersecurity related certification required (CISSP, CISA, Sec+, Pentest+, CySA+)
- Additional IT related certifications are considered an asset
- Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience including networks, Windows, MacOS, Linux, Windows Server
- Experience with penetration testing and techniques
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities
- Experience documenting and maintaining security related policies and procedures
- Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws

**Context and Environment**:

- Communicate technical concepts to business users
- Work both independently and in a team-oriented environment, such as IT Operations group
- Analyze large amounts of information
- Work for extended periods at a computer
- Work occasional overtime hours to meet project deadlines
- 37.5-hour work week with on-call availability for 1 week every 12 weeks
- Possible mínimal travel required
- Occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings
- Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers, UPS batteries and peripherals

**Internal Communications**:
The Information Security Analyst must liaise with ClaimSecure stakeholders to provide information related to proper maintenance of infrastructure to meet business goals.

**External Communications**:
Occasional contact with clients, suppliers, contractors and security vendors to maintain and troubleshoot systems.
