**Summary of Duties and Responsibilities**:
This position is supervised by the HR and Operations Manager and will be responsible for assisting in the day to day operation of the Human Resources Department and Payroll. This position is of a highly confidential nature relating to staff and labor relations.
**Qualifications**:
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communications, or related discipline preferred, as well as a certificate or diploma in Payroll.
- Provide Leadership to the Society to ensure that the principles of anti-oppression and anti-racism are integrated into all aspects of the Society’s activities.
- Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage in a busy work environment and follow through while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with others.
- Sound understanding of ESA, OHSA, Human Rights Code, and other Employment related legislation.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
