**How your role will add to the story**:
The **Technical Trainer** will conduct technical training for the dealer network, fleet accounts, and aftermarket repair facilities. Adapt, modify, and assist in the development of technical training material. As well, as assist in the creation of technical course scheduling and curriculum, and determining training centre needs.

**A day in the life**
- Conduct assigned technical training according to established training guides and lesson plans using authorized equipment and references (50%)
- Acquire and maintain a high level of competency in the service and repair skills necessary for MB and smart products. Personal development through additional training (10%)
- Maintain and update training centre facility and equipment, including training vehicles, workshop and test equipment, hand and special tools, training aids, and literature libraries (8%)
- Travel to deliver training in satellite locations (5%)
- Assist with course scheduling and needs such as product, tools, and training aids (2%)

**Mercedes-Benz Star skills, requirements & traits**:

- Must have automotive trade college diploma or Mercedes-Benz diplomas
- 5+ years as a licensed technician or Mercedes-Benz technical experience required
- Must have experience and ability to design, deploy and deliver successful training and work toward continuous improvement of the training.
- Experience with adult learning techniques and proven track record of engagement with audience
- Self-motivated and comfortable with working independently
- Willingness to travel, both domestic and international
- Bilingualism (French) considered an asset
- Bold, innovative and enjoy challenging yourself
- Honest and professional, a strong team player
