**The Opportunity**
Mosaic is seeking a **Technical Analyst** to work out of our Nanaimo office on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure, Hosting and Cloud Services, the primary role of a Technical Analyst is to support the client side technical components (hardware & software) of the organization’s operations and corporate computing environments. The Technical Analyst will also support the Systems Administration team in various aspects of the core infrastructure.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Triage helpdesk tickets & gather details to inform and support ticket resolution;
- Assessment and documentation of actions taken to remediate problems/requests;
- Remote and on-site support of client computing environment;
- Escalate complex tickets and work with the team to formulate solutions;
- Procurement, asset tracking, inventory, setup & deployment of end user hardware/software;
- Onboarding/offboarding/change management of domain users & hardware;
- LAN/WAN/Internet/Extranet network support and administration;
- Management of the client computing refresh program;
- Ensuring computing resources comply with the security requirements of the organization;
- Mobility Management of mobile devices;
- Education & training of end users in using hardware & software; and
- Documenting new & existing procedures.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Degree or Diploma in a computer/IT related discipline;
- 1 year + work experience in a computer/IT related role;
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent;
- Experience supporting Windows 10/11 Desktop environment;
- Experience supporting Microsoft products including MS Office, SharePoint, O365, OneDrive;
- Administrator experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, O365, GPO;
- Working knowledge of networking topologies/protocols (i.e., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Static IP, etc.);
- Experience with virtualized environments;
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative in identifying and resolving issues;
- Proven capability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong documentation skills; and
- Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace.

**Compensation**
