**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- work directly with the LINC Program Manager on a project to review all organizational and program policies for the purpose of improving program delivery under the EDI GBA Plus lens.
- Collect and review data and information regarding organization’s current policies and procedures.
- Undertake a gap analysis of policy and procedures relative to EDI standards.
- Develop or revise policies based on results from the gap analysis.
- Consult with the staff and clients to elicit feedback on current and proposed procedures, activities, and regulations.
- Prepare progress reports.
- Prepare, coordinate, and organize the ASSIST Taste of Heritage Festival as a focus and celebration of Multiculturalism, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
- Prepare presentations with the LINC Program Manager and present them to the Management Team, Board and staff on the revised policy and procedures proposals.
- Work directly with the LINC Teacher assistant on diverse projects.
- Support special project events and the accreditation project pertain the Language Training program.
- Plan settlement-related themes and activities for conversations classes. Coordinate the schedule for volunteers to ensure the conversation clubs are run smoothly. Supporting the LINC Coordinator and teacher assistant.
- Work directly with the scheduling of Team leaders and Support Team members and volunteers’ coordination per country and to support other projects within the program.
- Support and work closely with LINC Program Manager to source grant, sponsorship, and funding opportunities to support mini workshops for Youth, Seniors, and Women.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Business or Management, Education, or ESL preferred.
- Ability to facilitate group discussions
- Ability to resolve problems using process management
- Sensitivity to diverse cultural values and individual experiences
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and to work collaboratively with others
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including effective writing skills
- Excellent command of English. Additional languages are considered an asset.

ASSIST offers a flexible and supportive working environment. Police Information Check including vulnerable sector search is a condition of employment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 weeks

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
